The Lady of Love Lane

After studying The Ellesmere Union Workhouse as part of our heritage curriculum, we invited The Young’uns over to Criftins. They wrote and recorded a song with us about Hannah Chetwood, an inmate from the workhouse, who married a man called John Beckett and lived in Love Lane. This is a song about her life.
